1.1 Account Information

  • Sign Up with Google: If you choose to sign up with Google, we will collect your name, email address, and any other information you choose to share via your Google account.
  • Sign In with Apple: If you choose to sign in with Apple, we will collect your name, email address (provided by Apple), and any other information you choose to share.
  • Email/Password: If you sign up using an email and password, we will collect your email address and a hashed version of your password (we do not store plain-text passwords).

1.2 Health and Activity Data (Optional)

  • We only collect your daily steps count when you opt in to track health data through the App. This data helps power features such as step-based challenges and competitions.
  • You can choose not to share this information. If you opt out, you may not have access to challenge- or step-based features within the App.

1.3 Analytics and Crash Reporting

  • Firebase Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data that helps us understand how you interact with our App. This includes:
    • Session duration and frequency
    • Features and screens you interact with
    • Basic device information (model, OS version)
    • General location (country/region level only)
    • App performance metrics
  • Crashlytics: To improve App stability and fix issues quickly, we use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports. This includes:
    • Stack traces and error logs
    • Device state at the time of crash
    • Installation UUID (anonymous identifier)
    • Operating system and App version

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and Maintain Our Services:
    • Create and maintain your account.
    • Allow you to track your habits and participate in step-based challenges.
  • Improve and Personalize the App:
    • Analyze usage to enhance features and user experience.
    • Personalize content or provide tailored recommendations.

3. Data Security

  • We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
  • All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit using secure protocols (e.g., HTTPS/SSL).
  • We store your data on secure servers with restricted access.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

4.1 Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and for legitimate and essential business purposes, such as:

  • Maintaining and improving the performance and security of our App
  • Complying with our legal obligations
  • Resolving disputes
  • Enforcing our agreements

4.2 Account and Data Deletion

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data. When you request account deletion, all of your data will be permanently removed from our service.

4.3 Data Deletion Process

When you request data deletion, the following process occurs:

  • Personal Information: All your personal information, including habits, step data, and preferences will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days of your request
  • Shared Data: Any data shared in group challenges will be anonymized
  • Backups: Your data will be removed from our backup systems within 90 days
  • Analytics Data: Analytical data collected through Firebase will be retained in an anonymized form for statistical purposes

4.4 How to Delete Your Account

To delete your account and all associated data:

  • Go to Account Settings in the app and select "Delete Account"
  • Or email our support team at [email protected] with your account deletion request
